1.Coconut oil takes care of dry skin

Do you have dry, flaky skin that never gets enough hydration? Let me introduce you to coconut oil. A lot of moisturizers are full of water, which makes you feel hydrated at first, but once the water has dried, you lack moisture again. Don’t get me wrong, it’s important to keep your daily water intake on point, but drinking it will give you more benefits than moisturizing your face with it. Another tricky ingredient you find in moisturizers is silicone that provides smooth application and it blurs fine lines and wrinkles, but it won’t hydrate the skin. It forms a thin, rubber-like cover on the skin that traps bacteria, making a lot of us breakout in the long run. The fatty acids and antioxidants found in coconut oil nourish dry skin and they help strengthen underlying tissues.

2. Coconut oil takes care of oily and acne prone skin

I know that oil is the last thing you want to put on your oily skin. You are probably freaked out even by the thought of it. Why would you want to add more oil to the party when all that you want is to get rid of it? Let me tell you why. Excess sebum production might be your skin’s reaction to being dehydrated. It is perfect for curing acne. Coconut oil rebalances the skin and it removes dirt and toxins from deep within your pores. This skin detox may lead to breakouts in the first few days of using coconut oil as a moisturizer, but hold on tight and give it a month. You’ll be pleased with the results.

 3. Coconut oil takes care of mature skin

Anti-aging creams are often overpriced and they usually contain toxic and carcinogenic chemicals that gets absorbed into the bloodstream through the skin. Coconut oil minimizes wrinkles by promoting collagen production and replacement. It strengthens underlying skin tissues, and detoxes your skin by removing free radicals. Coconut oil slows down the aging process, and keeps your skin healthy, plump and wrinkle-free.

4.Coconut oil is nature’s richest source of lauric acid

When lauric acid enters your organism, it gets converted to monolaurin, a monoglyceride compound that kills bacteria, viruses and fungus. Lauric acid is miraculous for healing the skin but it can be taken internally as well which leads me to my next point. ⬇️

5. Coconut oil keeps you hydrated from the inside out

Oil pulling is a form of oral detoxification that prevents and cures various diseases. Oil pulling with coconut oil helps balance hormones, kill candida, moisturize skin, slow down the aging process, increase energy etc.

6. Coconut oil is a natural sunscreen

There’s probably nothing that coconut oil can’t do. Coconut oil has an SPF of 4, which means that it keeps you protected for approx. 45 minutes. While using coconut oil as sunscreen may not be suitable for a full day at the beach on a hot day (especially for those of us with sensitive skin), but it’s worth trying for everyday protection.

7. Coconut oil can be used as massage oil

I hope you’re all excited about coconut oil by now and to increase excitement, you can use also use it as massage oil and get your loved one pampered to the max. The saturated fats, anti-microbial agents and vitamins nourish the skin while you ease those achy muscles.

NOTE: only use cold pressed, extra virgin coconut oil!
